I am a double board-certified adult and addiction psychiatrist licensed in New York and New Jersey. I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Jinnah Sindh Medical University, completed my residency in Psychiatry at Nassau University Medical Center, and pursued a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in addiction psychiatry and have expertise in treating Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, Depression, Psychosis, PTSD and Substance use disorders. I primarily provide medication management and incorporate psychotherapy into the appointments. I offer both telehealth and in-person appointments. In-person appointments are currently only available on Saturdays at my office in Closter, New Jersey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Please complete the intake forms and submit it to before the visit. Completing the intake form ahead of time allows clients to save time and resources by collecting necessary diagnostic information ahead of time.

Initial session: $400 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $200 for 30 minutes

I offer slide scale. Majority of my practice is considered out-of-network. I can provide you with a receipt (super-bill) which may allow you to be reimbursed by your insurance. It is your responsibility to contact your insurance and find your out-of-network coverage. Please be advised that we cannot accept any Medicaid or Medicare patients either as in-network or out-of-network patients. I can accept small number of insurance PPO plans through my practice support system Hello Alma including Aetna, Cigna and Optum including United, Oscar, Oxford. Alma will help with insurance eligibility check and copay estimate. It is the patient's responsibility to submit insurance information for eligibility check.
