Getting to know Heena Patel
Hello there! I was formerly a neurological ICU nurse for 7 years before practicing as a psychiatric APN for the past 8 years. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Villanova University. I chose psychiatry as my "forever career" because I am fascinated by the power of the human mind and psyche, and because mental health is often underserved, unseen, stigmatized, yet so vital to every person's well-being. While I don't believe in a "happy pill," I do believe psychiatric medications can truly help individuals when necessary. I am passionate about taking an individualized approach to treating my patients and helping them achieve the best quality of life possible.

Heena is a top notch provider. She is very professional and extremely kind. She will listen to your concerns and help navigate you through anything. Whether it be medication or talking you through something she knows the best way to treat your symptoms. I have never felt rushed nor judged during my time with Heena. She is fast to respond and is very accommodating. It is hard to find a provider you can trust, Heena is the one person I have always trusted.

Heena is an incredible provider, and I would be lost without her. She takes her time to really listen to any challenges you're having with medication and makes appropriate changes or suggestions for improvement. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and compassionate beyond words. When I came to her, I was on medication that was completely wrong for me and the changes she has made have vastly improved my wellbeing.
