She brings particular expertise in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause, and she finds genuine joy in caring for patients across all stages of adult life. To Heidi, a primary care provider is a partnership, an accountability partner who helps patients stay on track with prevention while alleviating suffering when illness is present. That partnership has to encompass the whole person, because physical and behavioral health are inseparable; stress, mood, and mental wellbeing directly shape physical outcomes, and vice versa. Her role is to listen fully, screen proactively, treat what she can, and coordinate care so no part of a patient's health goes unaddressed. Outside of work, Heidi's favorite moments are spent with her husband and kids, whether they are out hiking, camping, at the pool, or just enjoying time together. Staying active is important to Heidi, and she can often be found at the gym doing strength training activities and challenging herself physically. She considers herself a lifelong learner and loves the challenge of picking up new knowledge and skills.
