I am a Nurse Practitioner originally from Yorkshire, England. I have lived in the USA for the past 21 years.
My journey in healthcare has been shaped by a passion for listening, advocating, and partnering with patients, especially those facing chronic conditions and barriers to care
My experience includes working with vulnerable populations, from individuals experiencing homelessness to those with development disabilities. Most recently I have worked with Medicare/Medicaid patients managing chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and COPD.
Outside of work I spend a lot of time with my family. I am a proud nana to six amazing grandchildren. I love to travel to visit my family in both England and Ohio when I can.

NP Helen Hardy is exactly the kind of provider I have been searching for for years. She is attentive, thorough, and truly present during each visit. You feel listened to—not like just another number or a rushed appointment. I never felt dismissed or that my concerns were overlooked.
What I value most is her respect for my preference for a holistic, natural approach to care. In the past, I often felt judged by medical professionals for this. With NP Hardy, my choices were genuinely heard and thoughtfully considered. She provided balanced guidance, offering traditional medical recommendations alongside natural options, clearly explaining the benefits and risks of each.

It took me over 10 years to find a PCP I truly trust, and I’m so grateful I found Helen! She's warm, easy to talk to, and genuinely listens, I never feel rushed. She's very responsive with follow-ups and I never have an issue getting a appointment. So happy I switched to Helen, highly recommend!

Helen is an amazing PCP. She’s extremely attentive and thorough. I don’t feel rushed in my appointments- she takes her time to explain different treatment options and takes my opinion into account. I know that she sees me a person and not just another appointment slot to fill. She checked in frequently around a new medication she prescribed vs most other practices where you’d typically have to call, leave a voicemail, and wait or a follow up or play phone tag to relay concerns. I’m really happy with her care and my husband is also switching to have Helen become his PCP. Cannot recommend her enough!
