Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I thought my appointment went great but then the medication she prescribed required prior authorization from my insurance and she said I needed to book another appointment for prior authorization alone. I’ve never had this with any providers in the past.

Dr Helen stopped replying to me and left me without a refill, and without my medication. She never called in my prescription for my medication after my appointment like she said she was going to do. I am going to see a new dr as she still hasn’t replied to me and it’s been close to 2 weeks since my appointment. I’m very disappointed.

I just love having her as a provider.
I wish that the law didn’t so dramatically inhibit her ability as a credentialed professional to provide the treatments which she finds appropriate for her patients, because it ultimately prevents me from getting the most appropriate care for my conditions. Of course that is a reflection of the state of Texas and the supervising doctor, not my practitioner. ??
TL;DR, if you don’t need stimulants to function properly, go see Helen. She is wonderful and smart and kind and doing her best within the limitations she’s faced with.

I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed talking to her. Many past experiences I've had with other doctors have left me feeling rushed out and unheard. This was very different; I felt like she really took the time to listen to what was going on with me and she took time to explain why she was recommending things. It was a great first impression

I just moved from Chicago to Austin and needed to find a doctor to treat my ADD, which I’ve been diagnosed for since I was 18 years old and then again from Northwestern Medicine. It was a 45 minute conversation (super long and questions were asked that had zero to do with the reason why I was visiting her). I was told my prescription would be called in by the end of the day. 9 hours pass and nada. I need this prescription and would have gone to a different doctor if this was going to be the case and if I was told I would have to deal with this. Honestly I want my money back. What a waste of time & I didn’t like how I was treated for going to an ADD specialist, which again I’ve been legally diagnosed since I was 18. I start a new job on Wednesday, and can’t function without my medication. Truly appalled. Again, I want my money back for the office visit.
