She has visited the ER over three times in the past two months, where cardiac problems were ruled out. Each time, she was given benzodiazepines and referred to a psychiatrist. She prefers not to be on medications and has tried psychotherapy. She was then referred by her therapist. Her goal is to remain on medication only for a short time and to use natural remedies whenever possible. She is very fearful of science and concerned about the long-term effects of medications. I am a good listener and an empathetic, patient person. I use an integrative approach to manage my patients and believe in teaching to support treatment compliance. I hold a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Wilkes University. My goal is for everyone to live life to their full potential and be the best version of themselves.
