What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means being supported in a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment. I believe that mental health care should be collaborative, so I encourage open communication and active involvement in all treatment decisions. My approach combines compassion and expertise to address both immediate concerns and long-term goals, ensuring that you feel heard, respected, and valued throughout your care journey. I also emphasize education and transparency, helping you understand your treatment options fully so you can make informed choices with confidence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll start with a thorough assessment, where I’ll ask about your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and any challenges you’re currently facing. This initial session is an opportunity for us to discuss your personal and family background, explore previous treatments, and establish clear goals for your mental health journey. Based on this comprehensive evaluation, I’ll work with you to develop a tailored treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy, or other supportive interventions. As we move forward, I’ll regularly check in on your progress, adapting the plan as needed to ensure it continues to meet your evolving needs and goals.

At what point does 33+ years of experiencing this horrible disease and not be listened to on what worked in the past and what makes it worse and adds more problems. This Dr.is not alone unfortunately.Seems to be a ongoing issue with this profession,I understand why.Patients who abuse and trade or sell the medication in question.Just I believe Drs have the ability to see what patients have been,”Dr.Shopping”& on to high of a dose etc.I believe the trust has to be a top priority, not just pushing medication that is the status quo.
