About Dr. Herbert Jeffrey Bernstein
I did my college undergraduate studies at the State University of New York, in upstate New York (affordable!), where I graduated with highest honors and was a ?straight A? student. I was then accepted to some of the best medical colleges in the country, and I chose the National University of Health Sciences, located in the Chicago area, which is considered to be one of the best chiropractic colleges in the world. I graduated from there with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and ?Honors in Anatomical Studies,? which is very important when you're a chiropractic physician! (I owe that to my Anatomy professors, who were the best Ph.D.-level teachers around.)
Since the curriculum of all U.S. medical, chiropractic, dental, and other health colleges must be approved by national accreditation agencies, my medical education was very thorough, encompassing four years of medical school courses, including clinical internship. I worked very hard and received a great education.
Over the years, I've continued my education with many, many postgraduate courses so I can continually keep up with advances in my specialty of medicine. Doctors must always keep up to date on learning the most advanced procedures.

Doctor is friendly and maintains patience to listen what patient says and describes about the pain and what causing the discomfort and also he gently explains about the procedure which he is going to perform and flexible with the revisits if required. Additionally he also explains how to do massage therapy at leisure time for better healing process.

I’m in my 3rd trimester and sought out prenatal chiropractic care for tailbone pain, hip/ sciatica pain, and migraines.
I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Bernstein. He would pause and check-in with me very often to assure I was okay and he would tell me exactly what adjustment he was going to do before he did it.
I left the office feeling so relieved and look forward to my future visits!

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. B. My visits with him were so wonderful. He has a gentle, kind, bedside manner and explains information in a way that doesn't complicate my understanding. He takes the time to check in, make sure that everything feels okay, asks permission to treat, etc. Dr. B is a true gentleman, but he is an especially skilled practitioner. I have experienced so much relief from my back pain because of Dr. B. Highly recommend him!

I was visiting Boston from out of town and had sudden debilitating shoulder pain, Dr. Bernstein to the rescue! He saw me 4 days in a row to relieve pain from what he quickly determined was a pinched nerve in my neck. After 1 adjustment I was able to move better and after 2 I was feeling pretty good. Absolutely amazing. He doesn’t do any of the twisting/cracking type of adjustment, his tool and muscle manipulation is more effective and much more comfortable. I’ll be back whenever I’m in Boston.

I went to Dr. Bernstein with very uncomfortable pain in my neck that had been bothering me for three weeks. Within seconds of examining my posture he was able to tell where I was in pain and why. Over the course of a month, and visiting Dr. Bernstein nearly every weekday, my neck pain is gone. He uses a very gentle but effective technique. I highly recommend Dr. Bernstein to anyone who has musculoskeletal discomfort and wants lasting relief.

Great visit. Dr. Bernstein is very professional and makes sure you're comfortable at all times. I went in for neck pain and he treated it with minor adjustments rather than a "cracking" (which he said is bad for the arteries), and my neck is feeling substantially better. Everything was straight-forward and quick.

He did not do an X-ray so he doesn't know my baseline, he simply had to go off what I told him. He did not do an assessment, he simply listened to me about my neck and therefore only adjusted my neck, however, maybe there are other parts of my spine that need adjustment. I wouldn't know unless we saw an X-ray so I told him I would have them sent in.
He asked me when I would like to come back rather than knowing himself. He should be able to assess the problem area and then say okay in order to get this properly aligned, you'd have to come back every two weeks per week for 3 months, then take a new X-ray to confirm I have been realigned. How else would you know the results of your work?

Very nice, explained everything clearly and thoroughly, great bedside manner. I'll be back! (Mostly because my back is all messed up, but still, I feel comfortable seeking treatment from him.) Also, my appointment was very last minute and he made time, which I was super grateful for.

Dr. Jeff is fantastic! He was extremely accommodating and would let me book really early morning appointments so that I could come in before work. He was always upbeat and positive and was great at explaining why my neck problems started, what was making it worse, how he was fixing it, and how the treatments were making progress. Since it was my first time seeing a chiropractor, I was a bit skeptical but I definitely came to trust Dr. Jeff and my neck problems completely went away, which I never thought would happen with how much consistent pain I was in.

Excellent. Dr. Bernstein treated me for sciatica. No more pain, numbness, or tingling. He answers questions and explains your condition clearly. I usually don't like going to doctor's but Dr. Bernstein is exceptional. I highly recommend him.
