What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients working with me can expect a compassionate, collaborative, and judgment-free approach to care. I take the time to truly listen and understand your experiences, concerns, and goals. My role is to support and empower you—not just to treat symptoms, but to help you make meaningful progress in your overall mental health and well-being. I value open communication and shared decision-making. Whether we’re discussing medication, therapy options, or lifestyle strategies, I’ll always make sure you feel informed, respected, and involved in your care. I believe in meeting each person where they are and tailoring treatment to fit their unique needs. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel comfortable being yourself—and where we can work together to help you feel your best.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, lifestyle, and any other information you feel is essential to share. This helps me get a complete picture of your experiences so we can create a care plan that’s tailored specifically to you. My diagnostic process involves careful listening, open dialogue, and the use of evidence-based assessment tools when necessary. If appropriate, we may also discuss medication options—though I always take a collaborative approach, and we’ll decide together what feels right for you. Follow-up sessions are typically more focused and are used to check in on your progress, adjust treatment as needed, and explore any new challenges or goals that have arisen. These visits are a space for ongoing support, where you can ask questions, share updates, and feel heard. Above all, my goal is to make each session feel safe, respectful, and centered around what matters most to you.
