Dr. Jacobson obtained her Bachelor of Science at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles, her Master of Science from Maryville University in St Louis, Missouri and her Doctor of Science from beautiful Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her career encompasses over twenty-seven years working in emergency medicine, pain management, gastroenterology, and psychiatry.

What should a new client know about working with you?

An intake appointment is 60 minutes and includes a thorough psychiatric history.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I like to summarize and repeat back to a patient what they have said to ensure accuracy and that they are being heard. I verbalize my diagnosis(s) and then which medication(s) will work best for them and why. My treatment plan is a collaboration and will only prescribe if a patient is on board with the plan.
