This is the second time I see Dr. Eng. He is very thorough and polite. Very happy with him.
Caring staff & doctor. Took the time to make sure I understood what was going on
very very happy I was recommended to see Dr Eng. very informative, very helpful, excellent visit office staff was great too
after the initial 2 hour wait - I was well received by Dr. Hon-Ming. He was great bedside manner. The staff was a bit all over the place though - when taking my blood, we changed rooms a few times, also the nurse put the vials on my lap because she didn't have a side table with her. I felt a little bit disoriented.
Dr. Eng was professional, a good listener, and clearly explained what he was talking about. He had a thoughtful approach to my symptoms.
THE BEST!!!!! The entire staff is friendly and they make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. I'm never going anywhere else.
Useless, left me in severe pain referring a colleague that was on vacation
Great Dr. Works with you to find an answer to your problems.
Great bedside manner, funny nice, smart. Clean office.
My appointment was scheduled for 8am, but when i arrived the office was closed and i could not reach any of the staff. I was forwarded to an answering service and was told that the office did not open until 8:30am! Why are these appointment times listed if they are NOT actually available?! When i was in the room with the doctor he didn't give me much information regarding my condition, besides a pamphlet to read when i left the office. I feel like i did not get any answers or help in how to treat myself but he was quick to schedule me to come in for a procedure. I felt rushed and left with NO information regarding my condition.
Great doc- long wait.
Amazing! I felt comfortable, the nurses were nice and we got right to it! A lot of great recommendations.
Very professional and empathetic doctor. Office staff also friendly
Great doctor! Efficient and thorough
Very nice place and nice staff. Dr is super knowledgable and goes approve and beyond to help and figure things out.
Doctor was impatient and did not listen to my symptoms. Did not seem interested in helping me.
Very professional and provided a detailed prognosis.
Very good doctor. Place is clean and nice. They were able to draw my blood with out having to send me to a lab. Treated me with care. Would highly recommend.
Very disappointing. Felt rushed through the discussion about my symptoms, felt shamed when I told him what I had / had not been given by drs after a recent surgical procedure (literally scoffed at the idea that o hadn't been given any antibiotics - felt so foolish that I called my orthopedic surgeon after the appointment to see if I was wrong - I wasn't ). Had blood tests - said I would be called with results on Friday or Monday - no call / no follow up. I would not recommend this dr in any way.
I've been a patient of Dr. ENG for some years & have always found the entire staff & operation to be polite, caring & efficient.
Dr. Eng was very amicable and began the appointment right on time. His office staff was very friendly and the aesthetics were nice (probably the poshest bathroom I've ever walked past). He explained the situation well and made me feel comfortable about my pending procedure.
Great! Saw me on short notice and explained everything to me well. 100% recommend.
He's alright but honestly not the best I've experienced. Pros are he's on call off hours so if you have an emergency and need to get in touch with him you can by calling his office. He's probably very good in other ways as well but I didn't find seeing him very helpful in that I felt like he wasn't totally paying attention to the issues I was having - feeling dismissed sometimes and being prescribed treatments without full reasoning as to why it's being done. It seems a little disorganized as well at the office because I had many scheduling issues and one of the front desk ladies was also always very rude and disinterested to help explain things. Follow-up and treatment plans are also unclear - was never really explained exactly how to care for the issue I had or how to prep for tests. Eventually I gave up and found another gastro.
He has a very genial manner which puts a patient at ease immediately.
I keep going back for all my gastrointestinal problems!
Very professional, caring, honest and direct
Great, they were very accommodating as I was too woozy to get blood drawn on an empty stomach.
Perfect. I loved that he exsplained in simple terms what is happening. Also the person that took blood was amazing didn't feel a thing. Beautiful office
He seems to be taking in multiple patients that I was left alone in room for 45 minutes while he attended other patients.
Dr. Eng and his entire staff are the most professional and incredibly nice people that one could ever hope to encounter. Through no fault of Dr. Eng's office, my scheduling did not occur the way I planned. Dr. Eng's professionals (especially Caroline!) went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and well cared for. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend them unconditionally.
The doctor is nice but the rest of the staff is completely disorganized and a little rude. When I returned a week after a procedure for my official results, I was told something completely different from what I had been told immediately after. I think I was originally given the results for a different patient.
Dr. Eng is very knowledgeable, has great bedside manner, listens to your concerns and provides the best possible treatment for you.
Dr. Eng and his staff were amazing! He was very attentive, he was inquisitive to find out my specific concerns and questions and he provided great references. He also gave me excellent feedback and provided very quick follow-up. I am glad to now be a client of his and definitely highly recommend him. His staff was friendly and extremely efficient.
Dr. Eng is awesome. Very attentive, thorough and kind. I would highly recommend him. In addition, his office staff is friendly and they will follow-up with you, if needed. 5 stars plus!!!
A little chaotic, but very nice and helpful people who are very interested in getting the patient as much help per appointment as possible.
He didn't really listen to what I was saying and seemed more interested in conducting his lucrative tests and getting me out the door than in figuring out what was wrong with me.
Doctor seemed knowledgeable and thorough.
Very helpful, nice, and willing to take the time to explain what's wrong. Even did an in-office procedure without prior notice. Will definitely return.
Dr Eng was very professional and thorough. He explained the prescribed medication and why he recommended it versus a more natural way of healing. His staff was super accommodating and as helpful as possible.
Very professional. His post op chat was brief but I'm sure he would have taken more time if there was an area of concern.
excellent experience. Entire staff was professional and organized. Offices were bright, clean and well equipped. First visit was very good!
He was very attentive and thorough. I look forward to continuing treatment with him.
He's great, and his assistants are fine, but definitely need a new receptionist with a better attitude. Last time i called she was unable to find me and insisted I was not a patient! This time her manner was cold and almost unpleasant. She really needs to be replaced, as she is inappropriate for dealing with the public or representing Dr Eng.
Great quick service for embarrassing problem.
Poor at taking a history and orders way too many test.
Dr Hon-Ming took the time to explain what was wrong with me and what the treatment will be to cure the problem.
I was referred to Dr. Eng by a friend and am really glad I went. I had almost given up on finding a solution for an issue that has been bugging me for years. I've been to other doctors and tried a bunch of meds with little relief. What was different this time was that Dr. Eng seemed intent on getting to the bottom of things and was really methodical and reassuring in his approach. When I told him the first Rx didn't seem to be working, he moved on to the a next round of tests and FINALLY I got a diagnosis and remedy that actually helped me.
Prior to appointment I've filled out docs online through ZocDoc. So my waiting time was quite minimal, 5 min maybe. Doctor was really good and knowledgeable. Highly recommended
In the 10 minutes I met him, I can already say he's one of the better doctors I've been to. He takes the time to explain everything to the patient, was prompt and efficient.
Just a consultation, but he was very professional and explained everything clearly so I could understand.
I have been seeing Dr. Eng for a few months with a range of gastrointestinal problems. He has always been helpful, informative, patient, and took the time to listen when I spoke about what was going on. He and his staff are amazing. I certainly hope my gastrointestinal problems don't reoccur but if they do I know for a fact I will be going back to Dr. Eng.
It is pretty early to offer an opinion just yet.
Dr. Eng has consistently been an excellent and helpful doctor and an obviously incredibly knowledgeable gastroenterologist. I have already recommended him to two friends with similar GI issues and will continue to recommend him to anyone I know that has GI issues.
Pleasant and efficient office/nurse personnel.
This rating is based off of the consultation I had with him, but from the consultation alone he seemed like a genuinely great doctor. He took the time to carefully listen to me as I explained what was going on with me and gave useful and reassuring feedback and helped make an appointment for an endoscopy right away.
The wait was long BUT partially my fault with insurance issues. He was incredibly nice and made me feel very comfortable and positive. Highly recommend.
Great listener. Very very personable. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended.
Nice enough, but seemed eager to provide me with expensive tests and didn't really explain what he thought was wrong with me.
Dr Eng was both very thorough and knowledgeable and the nurse was professional and kind. I had an endoscopy and they made me feel very comfortable before and after the procedure. The results were clearly explained and problem was diagnosed. Very happy and highly recommend Dr Eng.
Very sweet doctor. Definitely knows his stuff. The wait time was quite long but I think it's because I did not immediately let the front desk know I was from ZocDoc. Other than that I'd recommend him to anyone.
Easy to talk to, really spent quality time finding out what was going on. Explained everything.
No wait and quick but thorough consultation.
Dr. Eng is awesome! He's very jovial and easy to talk to. He was thorough, sympathetic and made sure to answer all my questions. When I needed to talk to him after my appointment, he came out immediately to chat. Wait time was probably 20-30 minutes.
Highly safe, professional, knowledgable, positive environment, friendly staff members and non-stressful office.
The Dr. And his staff were very helpful and understanding of my situation, Even web they drew blood they did their best to be comforting and make it pleasant. I would highly recommend this Dr and his facility.
Much better than I expected! Great help :)
The Dr. seemed really good, knowledgable, very relaxed and friendly. the staff was also nice. My only complaint was my skin got inflamed at the site where the bandaid was placed after they took the blood work. This has never happened before. I don't know if I developed a new allergy, or if they use bandaids that are not hypoallergenic.
Clean office, great staff, awesome doctor! I am due back for an endoscopy. It is my first one. I will leave feedback after it.
Dr. Eng was very considerate and asked a lot of questions to gather information. He said that we needed to run some tests to get the full picture of what is going on with my body. I am actually looking forward to my next appointment once we have all the intel.
Dr Eng is wonderful; unfortunately, everyone else in the office is incompetent, which makes for a very unpleasant experience overall. It all began when I booked my appointment on zocdoc - I received 2 confirmation emails over the next few days, but when I called the office, they had absolutely no record of my appointment and didn't have time to see me. After my husband called several times, they finally agreed to double book me and squeeze me in. I had a few blood tests done on a friday, and when I came in for a procedure the following monday, the guy at the front desk told me they'd call me that night with the blood test results. No call. Moreover, I was told there were several things going on with my stomach, but was given no advice on how to address it with dietary changes or medicine [they didn't even give me any pamphlets - all my other friends who have had acid reflux, etc. have received detailed information on how to proceed, but mine just delivered the news and left.] I then called on Thursday to find out what had happened - they promised to get back to me but never did. 8 days later, I called again, and as usual, the person who answered PROMISED to get back to me that day. It is now monday - I have heard nothing. I called about an hour ago, and was told I'd hear back today, but I've been hearing that for weeks - why should I believe them now?! Ho hard is it to call someone back with the results of a blood test that were taken weeks ago? I am livid - so livid that I am writing the first review of my life
Great experience at a doctors office
doctor ok staff and office peculiar kinda scary
Very smart man.
Very good at talking about causes and effects, and describing where and how problems occur in the digestive system. Thorough enough to describe rare genetic disorders that predispose to other problems, too, and calming down patient.
He knows how to calm a patient and he is very knowledgeable. The only thing that got to me was that he didn't return my calls for a while to explain some blood work results but his place is very busy all the time with procedures and the like. Just know that he'll get back to you.
Dr. Eng was happy to hear my symptoms and refer me to another doctor, but rather than discuss remedies was very quick to schedule me for a diagnostic procedure that I most certainly did not need. My symptoms were relieved with simple over-the-counter medicine as directed from another physician's 2nd opinion.
Well Educated doctor interested in patients well being.
I thought the doctor was excellent and his staff was fantastic! I have a phobia of needles and the girl that took my blood was EXCELLENT! She was so considerate and she made sure that I was ok by talking to me the entire time. It was wonderful!
