“Very efficient scheduling, walked in to my appointment and only waited 20 mins. Gretchen came and got me, was friendly and asked all pertinent medical questions and listened to my concerns for appointment. I followed Dr Howard Hitchfield to this new location (he is our skin doctor of 6 years, very knowledgeable in what he does, listens to your concerns and handles them with utmost respect, professionalism, and care). The office staff are friendly, efficient and care for their patients (new and existing). I would recommend this facility and Doctor Hitchfield, you will not regret it! From making your appointment to feeling comfortable, heard, cared for and issues resolved! ”

About Howard Hirschfield
Howard Hirschfield is an experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in dermatology, with more than 25 years of clinical experience in the Tampa Bay area. Since 1998, he has provided comprehensive skin care to patients of all ages, treating a broad range of conditions including acne, skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, and other complex dermatologic concerns.
A Pinellas County native and graduate of Seminole High School, Howard is deeply connected to the community he serves. His healthcare career began as a Firefighter Paramedic before earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. He later gained valuable clinical experience in the Emergency Room Trauma Center at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.
Driven by a commitment to advanced practice and patient-centered care, Howard went on to earn his Master of Science in Nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Tampa.
Outside of work, Howard enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family. He is married and the proud father of two adult children.
