Dr. Howard Shapiro graduated with his degree in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, in 1990. He then completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals and Institutions from 1990 - 1991. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Dr. Shapiro made me feel very relaxed and I didn’t have to ask a lot of questions because he explained everything I needed to know about my concerns BEFORE I got the opportunity to ASK any questions…I’m diabetic and I was IMPRESSED with all his KNOWLEDGE regarding that disease and the CARE that is required to your FEET with having it…My experience was very informative and delightful…I felt like I went to see a FRIEND instead of my DOCTOR!??

I have been going to Dr. Shapiro for quite a while now, he has always been very cordial, very caring and he listens. I recently needed Bunion surgeries on each foot, Dr. Shapiro explained the procedure thoroughly and I’ve recovered smoothly and surely since. I totally trust Dr. Shapiro and highly value
