During his training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, he became involved in the early clinical trials investigating the use of percutaneous aortic valve replacement in patients with aortic stenosis. In addition, he has been trained in percutaneous left atrial appendage closure for patients with atrial fibrillation who are not ideal candidates for anticoagulation. Dr. Naik takes a special interest in the percutaneous treatment of several structural heart abnormalities, including ASD, PFO, VSD, PDA, perivalvular leaks, and also alcohol septal ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He has published extensively and presented at national meetings regarding these technologies. Dr. Naik utilizes these novel therapies to serve the community at large in Arizona.
