About Hye-Jin Gehring
Hye-Jin (Jin) Gehring is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who has spent her career working as a dermatology provider. She earned both her Bachelor's and Master's in Nursing from the College of New Jersey. Born and raised in New Jersey, she began her career as a nurse practitioner in 2012 in her home state and subsequently worked in a large practice in Delaware. She recently moved to Washington and has quickly come to love it here. Still getting acquainted with the area, she enjoys running on the many trails in her free time and exploring parks with her husband and two boys.

Dr Hye-Jin was a great listener. She is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain about my conditions and the treatment plan. I felt at ease and knew I'm in good hands. In one of the appointments, I couldn't get one that was earlier, so she agreed to squeeze me in between her patients. I didn't feel rushed and she again took the time to answer my questions and addressed all of my concerns.
I'm grateful for her help and highly recommend Dr. Hye-Jin for your dermatology needs!

Great first appointment. Both Nicole (assistant) and Dr. Hye-Jin Gehring were friendly and helpful. Jin speaks a little fast, but I was able to track what she said and got all my questions answered. The process and appointment instead were quick and easy. I would return!

My rating is very generous. Provider was nice and friendly, and so were the staff. But, I felt rushed. Provider spoke a little too fast for me. One of the most important things I wanted to get done during this visit, besides checking my face, was actually getting my skin checked. It wasn’t clear if that meant doing labs or not, so we’ll see when I get labs what that looks like. In regards to my face and scalp, I’m glad I can say the YouTube videos I watched confirmed which skin products I can use to improve my skin and overall look. And, I did get confirmation about the two topical treatments I currently have and how many times I’m supposed to use each one. I’m supposed to come back in three months, so hopefully I’ll feel more content next visit.
