About Dr. Hyun Hong

I believe in the treatment of the whole person. Besides interventional procedures and medical management, nutrition and exercise, psychological counseling, and prayer can play vital roles. Hyun Hong, M.D., is double board certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He completed an internal medicine internship at Legacy Hospitals in Portland, Oregon. He then went on to complete anesthesiology training at the University of Washington in Seattle, which was founded by John Bonica, the originator of the multidisciplinary pain concept. After practicing anesthesiology in the private sector, he returned for further training in interventional pain management at the world renowned Texas Tech Pain Institute under Gabor Racz, who created the Racz procedure. Hyun believes in the treatment of the whole person. Besides interventional procedures and medical management, nutrition and exercise, psychological counseling, and prayer can play vital roles.

Dr Hung seemed very to the point & knew where he stood with pain management (despite much information on me as a patient, or my condition... So there is a plus & a minus!) He was disinterested but seemed to have a lot to see. The clinic he works in is beautiful, clean & friendly-- making it harder to judge him negatively. I am uncertain of seeing this doctor again.
