About Dr. Hyunjae Lee
Dr. Hyunjae (Albert) Lee holds two doctorates: a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He also earned his bachelor's degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. As a chiropractor, he frequently observed a link between foot and ankle problems and low back injuries, which inspired him to further specialize in foot and ankle treatment. To pursue this, he attended podiatric medical school and completed a podiatric medicine and surgery residency.
Dr. Lee believes that true healing power comes from within the body and that conventional medical treatment works best when combined with appropriate natural therapies. He completed his 4-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at SBH Health System-a Level II Trauma Center in the Bronx, New York-where he served as Chief Podiatry Resident with training in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. During his residency, he also completed a 1000-hour Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine.
He is currently affiliated with St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, NJ, and Wayne, NJ, as well as St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY. Dr. Lee remains one of the few podiatrists and chiropractors trained in integrative medicine. He is an avid Pranic Healing energy healer and has been practicing meditation and meditative yoga regularly since 2009.
Dr. Lee is also committed to humanitarian missions. Since 2012, he has organized and participated in more than 10 chiropractic mission trips to Colombia. He serves as a board member of the nonprofit organization Global Reach Alliance of Community Empowerment (G.R.A.C.E.).

As a runner, I have had multiple problems with Plantar fascitis. While training for the marathon Dr. Lee was able to help me with my pain. He gave me clear instructions on what to do to get my foot healthy. He is attentive and an excellent Podiatrist.

Dr Lee guided me very well. His adjustments have helped my spine. He also created custom insoles to help my feet. Since his visit, I have very little pain in the legs while walking. With his adjustment, I feel great improvement in my spine and legs.
