About Dr. Ian Storper
Dr. Ian Storper is the Director of the Otology Program at the New York Head and Neck Institute at Lenox Hill Hospital. He specializes in diseases of the ear, focusing on hearing loss and hearing restoration surgery, stapes surgery, surgery for chronic ear infections and eardrum perforations, cholesteatoma, cochlear implantation, superior semicircular canal dehiscence repair, and facial nerve surgery.
Dr. Storper earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology at the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by a fellowship in Otology and Neurotology at the Ear Foundation.
He joined the New York Head and Neck Institute after serving as the Director of Neurotology at a major university medical center in New York for 16 years, where he performed their first cochlear implant.
At the New York Head and Neck Institute, Dr. Storper performed the first Baha Attract hearing implant in the United States in 2013 and the first MAXUM middle ear implant in the Greater New York Area in 2012.
In addition to ear surgery, Dr. Storper maintains a large general practice in Otolaryngology, including sinonasal surgery and office otolaryngology.

Very thorough doctor, listened to all my concerns and did a very thorough workup. Did have to wait almost an hour to be seen but that's not the doctor's fault, I think it's just the way they schedule patients there. Overall very good experience, definitely recommend

He patiently helped diagnose me with Meniere's Disease, removed my tonsils, and conducted a biopsy on a lesion in my cheek.
