I am a dual board-certified nurse practitioner in both psychiatry and family medicine, with a Master's in Nursing from Pace University, psychiatric and mental health nursing training from Liberty University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. I bring a wealth of experience in both internal medicine and psychiatry to provide the best possible care for adults. I believe that mental health is the cornerstone of a happy, fulfilling life. That's why I take the time to truly listen to my patients, understanding their unique stories and needs to create a personalized treatment plan that fits their life.

This appointment was honestly dissatisfactory. It wasn't clear that the provider listened to anything I said, instead going on long winded rants with very little intervention or willingness to listen. I tried to be forgiving at first, they are the doctor and know better then me. However, when the advice devolved into stuff I already did (which they knew because I had told them) I realized that this was just a form statement with no care for me. Also, I feel as if on ZocDoc it's not made clear that they have a concierge program that they are trying to funnel their patients through.

I was very nervous to meet with Mrs. Okpaleke due to this being my first appointment, but she was very attentive, listened to my concerns and made me feel seen. I don’t know. I never write reviews, but I needed to write one for her because I need people to know that she really does care.

She’s extremely knowledgeable, caring, intelligent and professional. She’s very attentive to my health concerns trustworthy, caring and down to earth. She listened and responded well to my medical needs. She also followed up to see how I am doing. The medical services that I received from her is excellent.
