Ify is open and warm when communicating with patients. Been empathic to patients' concern is one of her greatest skills as it promotes mutual trust and understanding.

I already have a prescription I’ve been on for over 5 years and needed a refill. The doctor told me they would not be able to fill my prescription and attempted to switch me to something else cold turkey which I declined. I was then told someone would reach out to me to assist with getting my prescription and told me to be patient. Nobody ever called or reached out to me and I’m still without my prescription

I booked this psychiatric nurse through Zocdoc because I couldn’t get in with my primary care provider or a psychiatrist and needed help quickly. I was in a very vulnerable mental state at the time.
Looking back now, it’s concerning that psychiatric medication was prescribed during the very first visit. You cannot truly assess a patient well enough in one appointment to make that decision. I was prescribed Zoloft, and instead of helping, it significantly worsened my anxiety and insomnia. My blood pressure became dangerously high and I had to go to urgent care to be treated.
Afterward, I continued receiving appointment reminders for a visit I did not want and was worried I would be charged for missing it. When I asked for confirmation that the appointment was canceled the second time, the provider responded in ALL CAPS in a condescending tone.
Mental health providers work with vulnerable patients. This experience felt careless, dismissive, and caused more harm than help.

First time appt was less than 10 mins long. Wouldn’t start the appointment until I enrolled in auto pay while on video call with her. Barely asked me any assessment questions. Wanted me to schedule a future appointment with her while on the call with her, which I will definitely be cancelling. Also she was not in a private room. I could hear someone in the background cooking. Logged into my insurance portal a few days later and saw she billed an absurd amount for the 10 minutes I spoke with her.
