Please note for all new patients: Dr. Ibrahim is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance at the office but he will give you a super-bill to present it to your insurance company. He does not prescribe medication to patients without an initial consultation or evaluation. Dr. Ibrahim does not treat adults for ADD/ADHD. He only treats children and adolescents (under 18) for those visit reasons.
Ihab Ibrahim is a dedicated and caring psychiatrist, specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry, serving the community of New York and New Jersey. Dr. Ibrahim earned his medical degree from the Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt. He then moved to the United States to complete his residency in psychiatry at Delaware Psychiatric Center. He also completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at North Shore-LIJ Health System.
Dr. Ibrahim runs his own practice. He is certified in child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.
Patients see Dr. Ibrahim for a variety of reasons, including psychiatry consultations, depression, anxiety, autism, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Dr. Ibrahim is fluent in Arabic as well. He received the High Institute of Preventive Medicine Award in 2004. Outside of his practice, Dr. Ibrahim enjoys reading, traveling, music, and soccer.
