I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a triple-certified clinician: Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and Certified Nurse Midwife. I bring a unique blend of mental health expertise and advanced reproductive and perinatal care to support patients through every stage of life.
I specialize in women’s mental health, perinatal and postpartum psychiatry, trauma-informed care, and culturally responsive treatment. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. Your first appointment is all about you, your story, your concerns, and what has brought you to seek support. We will go through your mental health history, current symptoms, any previous treatments, and relevant life context, including physical and reproductive health. I ask a lot of questions, and I listen carefully. You do not need to have it all figured out before we meet.
By the end of our time together, I want you to feel heard and to leave with some clarity. I will share my initial impressions openly, explain any diagnoses I am considering in plain language, and if medication seems like a good fit, we will talk through the options together so you can make a decision that feels right for you.
I also want to make sure there is room for your questions. You should never leave feeling confused about what comes next.
