About Dr. Ilan Kokotek
Ilan Kokotek, DO, is a board-certified family physician, specializing in preventive medicine. Dr. Kokotek is trained to take care of patients in all walks of life, and he carries a passion for centering lifestyle, community work, and policy as tools to prevent and reverse diseases. He completed medical school at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, in New Jersey, where he learned to take care of each of his patients with a holistic perspective, including the mind, body, and spirit. He went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at St Luke’s University Health Network, in the Lehigh Valley area of PA and NJ; there he had the honor of serving as chief resident. Following his family medicine training, he completed a fellowship in General Preventive Medicine and Public Health – and obtained a Master’s in Public Health – at Johns Hopkins University. He has applied his knowledge and skills in varied settings such as community clinics for underserved populations, local and state health departments, and the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
Dr. Kokotek’s professional interests are in chronic disease prevention and reversal, behavior change, and connecting with his patients to build lasting professional relationships. He is particularly attuned to patients’ unique circumstances, as well as the overarching social, political, commercial, occupational, and environmental contexts which affect all our lives and our health.
In his spare time, Dr Kokotek enjoys swimming, playing volleyball, doing calisthenics, bike-riding, singing, writing, reading, meditating, spending time in nature, being in community, and trying new recipes.

Great overall experience! Doctor Kokotek was patient in listening to my health concerns and didn't rush me through my appointment. He was very thorough in asking me questions regarding my medical history and that of my family's medical history. Together Dr. Kokotek and I discussed a game plan for reaching my health goals. The office staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. There's even an awesome phlebotomist on site, who hit the vein first try. How nice is that! I know that I made a great choice in my new PCP. I highly recommend Dr. Kokotek's office if you're tired of the "conveyor belt" type of medical practices out there today.

Dr. K is awesome! After my first appointment he made me feel more comfortable than any doctor I’ve had previously. Bedside manner is incredible and his communication is clear and not overwhelming. Desk staff and nurses are pretty much what you’d expect from any office.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Kokotek. He and his staff were all welcoming. The doctor spent about an hour with me, which in my experience is highly unusual! Dr. Kokotek was responsive to my concerns. I highly recommend him.
