About Dr. Ilona Blumberg
Dr. Ilona Blumberg brings in over 30 years of experience in women’s healthcare, midwifery, expert obstetrics, and gynecology care,
trained to address a broad array of gynecological and obstetrical patients. Ilona Blumberg trained in South Africa as a registered nurse and midwife . After immigrating to the USA in 1986,she worked in labor and delivery for many years, both in Texas and Florida. She furthered her education and received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati and then her doctorate from Maryville University where she completed her dissertation on postmenopausal women.
As a registered nurse practitioner with a specialty in Midwifery and women's healthcare, Ilona believes in developing a relationship with her patients based on mutual respect, individualization, trust, and good communication.
Married for 44 years and has three sons and a grandson. Has a passion for swimming and her pets.

Great experience was nervous 1st time seeing a midwife but was put at ease with her.

It felt like I was at a spa! I love all the women there and I loved that it wasn’t crowded. 10/10 experience - there was no such thing as a stupid question but honestly they covered so much that I didn’t even think to ask. I just found our I am pregnant and I already feel fully prepared.

Care did not match the appearance of the office. Very clean and friendly but not detail oriented or personal care for patient. When first meeting with nurse, I needed to correct or repeat important dates and information, also misspelled my name on everything. I also did not appreciate her attitude when I asked if pelvic exam was safe this early in my pregnancy. Midwife also not very attentive to details and recommended prenatal with less than desirable ingredients such a dyes and titanium dioxide. After taking my blood, I had fainted and everyone in the office was quick to help. When I finally felt better to check out, the only staff member what was there was the woman who checked me in and she unable to check me out, the rest of the staff must have been on lunch (as I could see in the room across from the check out). I left confused and upset because I did not know when my next appointment was and I left with no information (this was my first appointment and first pregnancy).

The office was aesthetically pleasing very nice to look at it, super clean office very quick easy and office I was in and out in less than 30 min would deff recommend staff is very nice as well!

I love Ilona so much! She’s absolutely amazing, considerate, helpful and just an all around super caring and loving midwife. She delivered all 3 of my babies without any issues. She was there at all times. Wouldn’t go to anyone else!
