My visit was not bad I felt that I could have been given more of a chance to speak with her rather than feel as if I was possibly being judged or possibly not understood but for the most part she was professional and wanted to do things by the book which I agreed with the right way either way comfortability is important to me and I feel that is the one thing that possibly was not fulfilled completely I've only had one visit so hopefully things are better in the future.
Dr. Yuryev-Golger was warm, knowledgeable, and overall, I had a great experience meeting with her—especially given I was a new patient. I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for a psychiatrist in her area!
She was very detailed and listened well. Warm and pleasant
I felt as though the dr. was comprehensive in her initial intake questions and had a warmth to her that I appreciated. It felt like a good fit and I would recommend her. There also was no wait time which I especially appreciated.
Waited very long. You should never wait in a Psychiatrist office. There was no eye contact with doctor. She read the questions off her computer and typed them in. Recommended meds right away with what I think not enough current info If you're looking for someone to write you a script. Then go here. If you're looking for someone to help you do not go here!
She was a very nice lady! Very honest and encouraging!
Really was looking for help with my anxiety and focusing problems. Her advice to me was to stop drinking coffee. Not very helpful to say the least. Definitely am going to someone else. She seems to be against prescriptions and is more about holistic self help. Not really what I was looking for.
Very sweet and kind, seemed very understanding and thorough. I am definitely impressed and will continue to go to her.
Dr. Inna is very insightful and trustworthy in her observations and opinions. I feel she thinks and acts in my best interest and so I respect her very much. April 11, 2016
She was very thorough and explained any medications. I felt listened to
I thought the doctor was very thorough and helpful.
Dr Yuryev-Golger was sensitive, asked the right questions, listened carefully to my answers, and made me feel confident in her abilities as a psychiatrist. I took her recommendations regarding medication adjustment and have seen improvement and have scheduled another appointment.
The visit was excellent. The staff was very kind and respectful. The office was clean and the waiting room was pleasant. Would reccomend the doctor for other patients.
I was asked many questions so that I can receive a proper diagnosis. I cryed during the questions and she consoled me. The language barrier was there, but not difficult. She wanted to understand me and wanted to help me. I felt very comfortable and secure and safe. I believe I recieved a proper diagnosis. I was contimplating on seeing a Psychiatrist, but I am happy that I did. Overall she was very nice and concerned for me. I left feeling more knowledgeable of my myself. Very satisfying :)
Hope to see you again. :)
Will definitely make another appointment. Waited almost 2 hours, even though had an appointment. Well worth the wait.
excellent listener, good treatment options, not a long wait.
Rude and always a long wait.
Amazing doctor!Highly recommend her!
She's great! She took her time with me and made sure I was comfortable .she seems like a very kind and sweet lady.
Dr. Yuryev-Golger is a great psychiatrist. I have been a patient of her's for over 1 yr now am I am so glad I found her. She has really helped get my condition under control. I used to take alot of different medications but she stopped some of them which actually made me feel much better. She is very kind and genuine and devotes enough time in our sessions to make me feel that she truly understands what I am going through. She takes the time to get to know what I am feeling, and allows me to explain my feels even if I dont always know how to express them. I have had fluctuations in my mood and anxiety but ever since I have been her patient, she has been able to keep everything under control. Her staff is very friendly and helpful as well and I can say this from the many experiences I have had with them. I highly recommend Dr. Yuryev-Golger. She is great!
I think Dr. Yuryev-Golger is committed to her patients. She is very professional, personable, kind and knowledgeable. She was also VERY attentive to my past history and really spent alot of time with me to get to know my issues and problems before making recommendations on how to treat my condition. I thought that was great because I have been to other psychiatrists in the past who simply want to write a prescription and brush you off so they can see their next patient. I really appreciated Dr. Yuryev-Golger in how she made a genuine effort to evaluate the root core of my problems- something that no other psychiatrist has done. We had a wonderful session which was very productive and I look forward to my follow up appt in 1 month. Thank you very much for helping me.
I've never written a Zocdoc review before, but my experience with Dr. Yuryev-Golger was so bad that I have to share it. I saw Dr. Yuryev-Golger about a month ago and didn't love her, but decided to see her again because maybe she could prescribe the right medication for me, which is all I really needed because I have a therapist already. The first time I saw her, one of the other people working in the office came in and interrupted the session twice, once to take a 20 from her and again a few minutes later to give her change. She was fine with it, it seemed routine to her. The second time I went, the front desk told me to just go straight back to her office. She wasn't in there, but someone in the office next door told me she'd be back and just to wait. I sat in there for 20 minutes, and her desk was like, unethically messy. There was a prescription pad unattended (!), and a bunch of other papers and books and just tons of stuff strewn all over. Finally I asked the person in the office next door to go find her because she apparently didn't know I was there. When she came in, she didn't remember me at all. She asked me to write my name down so she could look it up on the computer and refresh herself with my file with me sitting there. I think most doctors do that before the patient is sitting in the office. She couldn't remember why she had prescribed me what she did, even after looking at the file. Her phone rang twice during the session, and she answered both times. Doctors' phones always ring, and they NEVER answer during sessions! Especially when the patient is in the middle of struggling to explain (for the second time) the nature of their depression. I've never picked a fight with a doctor or anyone else in my life, and that's not an exaggeration, but I was really upset and distracted by this and told her I thought it was really rude for her to answer the phone during the session. Her response was "I'm not bothered by you being mad at me because I know I didn't do anything wrong." Seriously! She said that!! She also claimed I hadn't told her last time what other medications I was on. I know that I did, but even if I hadn't (and I let her know this), that would be really bad practice because you need to know all of the medications a patient is on before you prescribe them something (and she did prescribe the last time I saw her)! Also, I don't think this is clear on Zocdoc, but her first language is Russian, and her English is not great. For me, it's very important that a mental health provider understand what I'm saying when I'm talking about my experience, and she was unable to do that in English. I think it's partly a language barrier and partly just that she's not a good listener. She might be a good fit for some, but you have to be ok with constant interruptions and her thinking it's a manifestation of your mental illness when you get upset with her. I also recommend that you are fluent in Russian if you go to see her.
I give my greatest rating in all aspects of care to Dr. Yuryev-Golger.
The doctor was absolutely lovely. It's unfortunate that I had to wait well over an hour before being seen, but she made up for it. She is professional, but friendly, and was almost motherly in her demeanor. We had a good conversation and I left feeling like I got the help I needed.
Excellent staff. Excellent doctor. I've been going to this office for the past 3 years and am very sad because I moved away to Texas. Highly recommended. Lana is the best.
She was very professional and the staff seem friendly as well . It was a pleasant experience and she was able to pin point what I was feeling and explanation almost immediatly :-)
Inna will give you the medicine you choose but she's not very polite. She was very condescending to me about my anxiety and told me to "stop being dramatic," which is like, super not comforting when I get the same stuff from my family and finally got the courage to seek out medical care because I cant sleep and I cry in the bathroom at work every day. She argued with me about the baselessness of my phobias in a way that makes me feel like I did something wrong, and just generally made me feel bad about myself. I mentioned missing the services of my psychiatrist in Taiwan and she said "you're not in Taiwan anymore." Really unprofessional and rude. If you need medication and thats it she's good, but if you are sensitive and looking for a kind person to help you out, I super don't recommend.
She was very cold. She asked me questions, input my answers into her computer and barely made eye contact with me. I felt like she was submitting all of my symptoms into a program for a diagnosis instead of speaking me to see what is wrong. Her advice to help me sleep at night was " don't think about anything".
The front office staff needs to be more attentive of the waiting time of patients with appointments. I know that some patients need more time with the doctor than what the appointment book allows but they need to communicate to the doctor that there are others waiting to be seen. Otherwise, Dr. Yuryev-Golger is great and extremely attentive and apologetic for the waiting time.
Very enjoyable visit.....Staff is so sweet !!! Thank you !!
This was my second appointment with Dr. Yuryev-Golger. She is wonderful!
She was very friendly. I enjoyed my conversation with her. The office staff was slightly brash, but I may have been being a little too sensitive.
I found this doctor to be very knowledgable but rude, disrespectful & not at all compassionate or understanding. I went to her twice and was taken aback by her abrasive both times. Also I waited over an hour and a half to see her because the front desk staff forgot I was there.
They booked another patient at the same time as my appointment and had to wait longer.
Dr. Yuryev-Golger is nice. The only issue with the place is that the wait time can be long. Otherwise, she is a good psychiatrist.
Loved her, very understanding, caring and thorough
Great people love going there
excellent and understanding as to medications for those who are highly sensitive to them
Amazing! so understanding and thoughtful! makes you feel like she really cares! defenitly recommended!
She was very nice and apologetic, but I had to wait 45 minutes and walk-ins kept getting priority over me until I spoke up.
I didn't completely trust her judgement. I entered the office thinking I was a bit anxious but left with medications for depression and schizophrenia.
My visit was extremely pleasant. The office was nice and clean, the receptionists were very polite and efficient. I only had to wait a few minutes before Dr. Yurev-Golger saw me. She was very kind and made me feel comfortable with her caring manner. She took time to hear all of my concerns and explained to me all of my options and the pros and cons of each. Will definitely go to her again!
Dr. Yuryev is wonderful, but the wait is always well over an hour. Ridiculous.
she's great a good professional she's just too far for me at this time...
She was empathetic and professional...great doctor!
I think Dr. Inna was excellent. She's a great listener, and is very no-nonsense when it comes to what kind of options are open to you and how to achieve the best in your mental health. Sadly I did have to wait three hours to see her from my original appointment time. I had to wait after a mix-up with my insurance and with the receptionist, as she was convinced that my insurance did not cover the services I needed, even though I double-checked to make sure they did before making the appointment. I had to call a representative to sort that out. The wait would not have been so bad if the waiting room wasn't so anxious inducing. It's a nice pale pink color, but the doors and trim are an off-yellow and all the furniture is made of black leather. The receptionists also are not very discreet when speaking to patients on the phone and have a tendency of repeating information while speaking to them. So all around, Dr. Inna is worth visiting at least once, but make sure to have extra information with you concerning your insurance plan if it's your first time, and make sure to bring a snack and some good entertainment. You might be waiting for awhile.
She seems to be a caring and professional individual and gave me good advice.
Very thorough and caring, I didn't feel rushed at all. Nice office space and staff also.
Having seen a few different psychiatrists, Inna has been my favorite. She is patient and willing to listen and not judgmental like other doctors have been. The only downside was the ridiculously long waiting time (one and a half hours). She needs to space her appointments appropriately.
She is an amazing doctor, very professional, understanding, kind. I felt relief right after my visit. I highly recommend the doctor to everybody who is looking for professional help.
Wonderful doctor who is very patient and professional :)
She was extremely through and very informative . Took her time with me and answered all my questions and concerns , truly a professional .
She was hilarious, kind and thorough. English is the second language of both secretaries, so be warned they can be a bit abrupt. The waiting room is also kind of chaotic. Regardless of your appointment time, you should watch for who is there before you because every one just waits for the person who got in before them to leave and then they let themselves into the hallway to her office without any one telling them to. Waited about 45 minutes for a wonderful session. Everything was talked through and explained to me. Good doctor if you're not in a rush.
Dr. Yuryev-Golger is very kind, and she seems to really care about your personal history. She has great bedside manner, and I would definitely recommend her! The only downside was that the wait time was a bit longer than expected, but that happens...
Dr. Golger was very pleasant and genuine. She did a very thorough interview with me and talked about different treatment options available. I really liked the fact that she gave me the opportunity to talk about my issues and did not cut me off or make them seem unimportant. I have been to several psychiatrists in the recent past and I am for sure staying as her patient.
great doctor and staff. She is very knowledgable and put me at ease with my condition. The counseling and therapy she provided really made a huge difference in my interpersonal relationships with other people and the way I view things. I never looked at things the way I do now so she really made an impact in my treatment.
I felt very comfy and she is very professional I will see this doctor again
She is absolutely fantastic, especially compared with the horrors of other psychiatrist in the city. Well worth the 2+ hour wait.
Compassionate. Professional. Experienced. I think I can get results with her. I'll go back.
She was great!
Great Doctor & professional helpful staff! Office is very organized and left me feeling that I was in good hands!
Wonderful and caring. A+!! Dr. Golger is a great listener, provided me with a thorough evaluation and explained all the available treatment options for my condition. From what I felt, she allows the patient to play an important role in their care. Not everything needs to be treated with medications and I was really happy about that. Will be returning for follow up visits and recommending to my friends / family.
I am very pleased with my overall experience. The office was neat, the front desk receptionist was very pleasant and warm. I felt very comfortable being that this was my first visit to see a psychiatrist. The physician spent an hour with me and did a thorough interview. I never felt rushed. Only one minor negative, there were quite a bit of interruptions during our sessions (phone calls, doctor's note ...) but other than that everything was great. I would definitely return. Highly recommend.
While I found the doctor to be relatively courteous, I well likely not be returning to her office. The wait time was unbelievable and the doctor seemed to be very dismissive of what I was trying to tell her. I didn't agree with her diagnosis, and she seemed to not be able to understand me when I tried to clarify her confusion.
Dr. Yuryev-Golger didn't really seem that interested in developing a treatment plan. Rather, she seemed interested in knowing how to diagnose me, which was apparent by her lack of patience in listening to the way I responded. She seemed to want to hear only about my psychiatric history as opposed to my overall experience of feelings and emotions. I don't think that's a very helpful way to work with a patient or make a patient feel encouraged by his or her visit.
Lovely and professional doctor and staff.
The waiting time is unbearable, bring something to keep you occupied for at least 1 - 3 hours. Dr. Inna Yuryev-Golger is very nice and she listens well but I feel like she makes diagnoses on more of her opinion then of what you repeatedly say.
Very professional. Great doctor.
Caring listener and listened to both, my spouse and I, without bias. Will see how it goes once a remedy is prescribed. Expect a very, very long wait.
A wonderful first interaction. Dr. Yuryev-Golger was very professional yet sensitive to the things I needed to discuss. Yes there was a slight wait but it wasn't a cause for complaint as she took her time and provided me with a thorough consult and the receptionist was pleasant.
Dr. Yuryev-Golger is an experienced, knowledgeable, kind and professional.
One word: Superb! The doctor was attentive, great listener, and evaluated my condition to a very fine degree. It made me feel like I was seeing someone who can and will actually help me. The wait time wasn't too long because my appt was in the AM but even if I did have to wait a little longer, it would be well worth it because you rarely find great dr's like Dr. Golger.
I have been looking for a great psychiatrist and I think I finally found one! Really nice, calm demeanor made me feel that my health was in the right hands. I'd recommend this dr to my family and friends.
The Doctor initially did not strike me as caring, but business. After the initial questions she warmed up considerably and seemed genuinely concerned. I arrived at 3:20 for a 3:30 apt and was not seen until 4:57. I was not updated in the office as to when I would be seen. There was no contact and when I was finally called, I was not called by name and told to open a door and walk in. It was a long corridor with many doors and no one bothered to direct me or escort me. The receptionist experience left much to be desired and I was very disappointed. In every other Zoc Doc office I was called by name, told how long I was going to wait and led to every lab, x ray or doctor room. I am returning to see the doctor however if the reception experience is not better and the wait time is the same, I am going someone where else.
She was cold and argumentative.
She was friendly and welcoming. I felt very comfortable sharing with her and will definitely be coming back.
Dr. Golger was VERY nice, took her time with me and really made me feel comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
she was great. Had a really nice positive vibe. I felt that her advise was great and the medication options which we discussed really gave me a new perspective on my condition and how to treat it.
Very pleasant! I really liked her approach and how caring and patient she was. I would highly recommend her!
excellent! she was able to help me with my problems right away. She really took the time to get to know me and my history & was able to recommend an alternative treatment course which I am able to tolerate much better than my previous medication. I would recommend Dr. Golger to anyone seeking a genuine, kind and sincere Dr.
AMAZING!!! What a wonderful Dr!! She listened to all of my concerns, thoughts, feelings and really took the time to get to know me. I have been to other psychiatrists in the recent past and I felt that Dr. Golger really made me feel comfortable and someone who understood my condition. She was very professional and knowledgable about the various treatments for my condition and really put me at ease. I will be going back and I highly recommend her! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
She is a wonderful doctor. Warm and patient, but the 90 minute wait was not great!
Pleasant experience as always.
Dr. Yuryev-Golger was very attentive and helpful in addressing my concerns.
it wZ terrific she had much understanding of my life!!
I think she was typing more than she was listening. Next time, I want her to listen to me and not type so much. But, she is very nice.
she was pleasant however I didnt really feel like the appt was productive.
Very concise evaluation.
Wait time is hit or miss in terms of reliability, but the office is clean, there is water and a comfortable, clean bathroom. The receptionist is on top of her stuff. The doctor cuts to the chase but is still thorough and helpful, and overall has been a lifesaver.
Very thorough. Very nice.
An excellent psychiatrist. I do not mind when she looks at her computer screen to type in current updates as this is protocol and always reengages with eye contact. I find it unfair to rate her badly because she was looking at her keyboard when typing! From my point of view an outstanding pharmacologist. Always reminding me she is here for my benefit, and virtually always acting humbly. So much more goes into the treatment of a patient than what most patients comprehend. A highly respectable doctor who is clearly in the right field of work. Many thanks for her time, understanding, and sincere and authentic personality. A gem in the sea of doctors.
She was extremely nice. She seemed very, very caring which was comforting. All in all, it was a pleasurable experience
she was great, very through and understanding.
Very understanding very patient
Dr. Yuryev-Golger is kind and personable. She has a mellow tone, which is nice. She is also very thorough. She spends a great deal of time asking about medical, mental and personal background. Then the last few minutes is spent talking potential treatments. I get the feeling she leans towards a more holistic approach, so walking out with a prescription isn't always a definite unless it's necessary.
excellent! very detail oriented. loved her!
Her secretary is really nosey and even asked me personal questions. I thought she was the doctor for a moment until the real doctor walked up.
I can't be too specific because of the review guidelines, but suffice it to say I 100% did not feel listened to, my input was not considered, and she arrived at an out of nowhere conclusion after reading me formulaic questions off her computer for about a half an hour. when I expressed concerns about this, they were dismissed, she talked over me & tried to push me into a plan I was not comfortable with. I left feeling vaguely bullied, confused, and demoralized, which is the opposite of how one should feel after seeing any kind of mental health professional.
