Dr. Blaufarb is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine to treat cardiovascular disease and practice nuclear cardiology, and he specializes in women’s cardiac health. Dr. Blaufarb is affiliated with the Mount Sinai Hospital as an associate professor, and he is a staff member with the Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Blaufarb received his medical education from the Jefferson Medical College. He then completed his medical internship at the Mount Sinai Hospital before completing his internal medicine residency at the same institution. He completed two cardiology fellowships, one with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and the other with the Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Blaufarb takes great care in explaining his patients’ conditions and detailing his treatment plans. Many of his cardiac consultations are performed in less than an hour. In his spare time, Dr. Blaufarb enjoys biking and pursuing his love of business.

Dr blaufarb and the medical assistants and technicians are wonderful. One of the receptionists is another matter. I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and because she didn’t do her job properly I sat there for over an hour and no one in back knew I was there. I wound up spending 2 hours in the office for no reason. People should double check and make sure that you have been checked into the system upon arrival

...finally, someone eased my concerns (he did).

He was nice but the receptionist was very unfriendly.... never even smiled... so uncomfortable... and the office staff supposed to call me a next day for getting the monitor for my heart beat checking and yet never heard from them since then even now... Dr told me to use this monitor in order to make a decision weather I need to take Eliquis blood thiner going forward or not.... so what am I supposed to do? Call the office... ??? I do not think so since they do not call me for that.
i didn't even have time to fill out the forms before i was seen! Dr. Blaufarb made me feel very comfortable and i left feeling very good. I was scared to go in but he eased my worries and i'm looking forward to going back

This doctor was an absolute joke, never again! I was dealing with high blood pressure and he just gave the option of powerful meds and nothing else, pretty much he was saying either you take the meds or you die. He was very arrogant and submissive, I never felt so uncomfortable in a doctors office. After speaking with him he just brushed me off and wanted no sight of me anymore. I raced out of his office as soon as possible. The only thing that was perfect was the wait time, I was seen immediately and the staff was courteous although they were constantly blabbing about social events and personal events that should be rather spoken about off the clock.
