He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and went on to receive his training in Gastroenterology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Tepler is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine both in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Tepler is on staff as an attending at the division of gastroenterology of Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Tepler is a member of the American College of Gasteoenterology and served as a member of the National Patient Care Committee. He was elected as a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG). Dr. Tepler served as co-medical director of the Advanced Endoscopy Center and now serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the center.
