I am a nurse practitioner specializing in mental health, with a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and a Bachelor’s degree from Walden University. I focus on anxiety, depression, and ADD/ADHD. It is my hope to be part of your journey so you can experience optimal wellness and a sense of fulfillment. My approach is individual-centered, with great respect for your values, beliefs, and preferences. It is goal-oriented, and your goals will guide me in choosing treatment modalities that fit you.
From our first visit, you can expect to feel seen and heard—more importantly, validated and supported. I will do my utmost to understand your needs so I can provide you with the tools to experience life the way you want it to be. I’m rooting for you and look forward to your visit.
My ideal patients are children, adolescents, and adults.

I can't recommend Dr. Bottomly enough. Her energy is comforting and she really was listening to me and how I was feeling. Thank you for helping me and finding out what other providers missed. Being told that I just need to lose weight and my life will be better turned out to be just their excuse for not knowing how to do a good evaluation. Irene was able to help me more in 2 visits than other providers did in years.
