She earned her medical degree from Saint-Petersburg State Pediatric-Medical University and completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center. Dr. Kazachkova also completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. She treats children with a wide variety of endocrine disorders, with special interests in pediatric type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. She also has expertise in pediatric obesity. The excellent results of her management of pediatric obesity have been acknowledged by the pediatric community and published. Dr. Kazachkova is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the sub-board of Pediatric Endocrinology.
