Dr. Koehler, while well-intended, did not help my acne situation at all. Immediately told me that I have eczema - which no other dermatologist has ever told me that I have. Immediately accused me of having a poor diet which is causing my acne, without ever asking what I eat (I don't even eat dairy products, which she told me to stop consuming). She prescribed a very expensive cream that was not covered by insurance and I could only get from one pharmacy. I will not be going back.

Very knowledgeable. If you are looking for a quick one time pill to fix your problems, go to someone else. Irmgard will actually find the root cause of your problems and help to you change what's causing them. This may include diet and lifestyle. She is the perfect mix of mainstream and hollistic and I would recommend her to anyone who is willing to work for their health.

I will never go back to her, she didn't even examine me, she basically asked me if excema ran in my family, and that's what I have.. And I'm fat so that's another reason why I'm breaking out.

I went in for some bug bites that I think I got on vacation, looking for some answers but she didn't make me feel any better. She was a little hard to understand due to her accent and our rapport just didn't flow. I made the appointment last minute on a Friday, so I would say, it seems like appointment availability is a plus.

She is a very holistic doctor and basically told me what was wrong with me without delving too deep into my medical history or why I was having skin issues. She attributed my issues to my diet and lifestyle before even asking WHAT my diet was. When she told me the foods to avoid and which ones to eat, I told her several times that I already am following that diet! The prescription she wrote me could only be filled by a pharmacist down the street as well. I think she has good intention but the advice and course of treatment could have easily been found on the internet.

It is my first visit with Dr. Koehler she is very kind an thorough with questions and explainations. Im seeing her for my acne. She has set the stage for what my expections are going to be for the future of my treatment. If your looking for a traditional Dr. that gives a lot of prescription medication she is not the doctor for you. My whole reason for seeing Dr. Koehler was to treat my problems in a Holistic way rather than heavy medications that require precriptions. I want to fix the problem rather than put a bandaid on it.

I've seen Dr. Koehler for 3 years. My interactions with her have always been a bit odd, but I just assumed it was a personality difference. This time, however, she was extremely rude. First, I was seen 15-20 minutes late. I told her from the beginning of the appointment that I wanted my yearly skin cancer screening, but she wanted to address my other concerns first.
She didn't want to answer any of my questions about her suggested treatments and would only do so after I asked her multiple times. Then, she was trying to end the appointment without the screening for which I had initially asked. When I said this to her, she said, "I've already spent a lot of time in this appointment. I don't have all day you know." This happened after only 15 minutes of an appointment and within the 30 minutes she leaves for appointments. Needless to say, I will now not be returning to Dr. Koehler's office.

I have been seeing Dr. Koehler for over a year and I think she is terrific. I enjoy and appreciate the time she spends with me and the care she shows. More importantly, her skill as a Dermatologist is excellent. I prefer her over other dermatologists I've seen, who seem more intent on treating me cosmetically than for the medical reasons I sought treatment.

Very rude. Kept pushing medications from a "pharmacy" she knew, but stated drugs can not be received at a typical place like Walgreens. Very pushy. I felt uncomfortable and condescended. I would never recommend her to anyone.

She was a very thorough doctor who was kind and explained a lot to me. I had a full body scan done and she took her time and explained anything she found that she wanted to discuss. I will definitely go to her again.
The office is a bit small and dark and Dr. Irmgard is a little quiet but she is very nice.

It was a medical experience like I have never had. Instead of a prescription the solution was to make significant dietary and lifestyle changes. It was a very "natural" approach that I would expect from alternative medicine, not an MD. Nothing from her recommended treatment plan is practical. I would not recommend this doctor.
