About Dr. Isaiah Friedman
I'm a physician board-certified in Radiation Oncology and in Lifestyle Medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM). Lifestyle Medicine is a medical specialty that uses evidence-based behavioral interventions — nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and other daily habits — as the primary tools for preventing and treating chronic disease.
Through years of practicing oncology, I came to deeply appreciate how much lifestyle shapes health outcomes, often more than any single treatment. That conviction is what drives my work today.
I specialize in helping patients with cardiometabolic risk factors, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, prediabetes, and obesity, make meaningful and lasting changes through evidence-based lifestyle medicine. My approach is thorough: I draw extensive laboratory work to understand exactly what's happening in your body, and I use that data alongside a detailed assessment of your habits and history to build a personalized plan.
Care is delivered via telehealth, so you can work with me from home without disrupting your routine. I combine structured weekly sessions with close medical oversight — monitoring your labs, adjusting medications when appropriate, and staying in regular communication with your broader care team so that everything stays coordinated.
