What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where you’re encouraged to show up exactly as you are. My approach is collaborative. We move at your pace, explore what matters most to you, and work together to understand patterns, emotions, and experiences. I use evidence-based strategies while also honoring your lived experience and intuition. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered as you navigate your healing process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process as a PMHNP is grounded in evidence-based psychiatric care and clear communication. Your first visit includes a detailed diagnostic assessment where we discuss symptoms, past treatments, medical conditions, and your goals. Based on this, I develop a personalized plan that may involve medication, brief psychotherapy, and targeted interventions. Each follow-up session includes symptom review, medication monitoring, and focused therapeutic work. I explain my clinical reasoning, discuss options openly, and make decisions collaboratively with you. You can expect a structured, transparent, and supportive approach designed to help you achieve meaningful, measurable progress.
