Dr. Israel Maldonado,(A.K.A. "Dr. Izzy") chiropractor, received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College (currently known as Life University) in Marietta , Ga. He has been in active practice since 1990 and has been the Director of Pura Vida Chiropractic Center located in Boca Raton, Florida since 1992-2018. Missing the joys of practice and service he proudly joined Pines West Chiropractic in 2021. Dr. Maldonado is dedicated to assisting his practice members experience maximum Health & Vitality utilizing Natural Chiropractic Strategies & Principles. Throughout years of service, "Dr. Izzy" has been blessed to witness the potential of healing using the art, science, and philosophy of chiropractic. He is a founding Member of both the I.C.A. Pediatric Council and Council on Fitness & Sports Health Science: member of the Florida Chiropractic Society, previous Board member of the Southern Chiropractic Association and is also a former co-host of the radio show High Performance Health and Healing. Dr. Maldonado was awarded the 2005 Chiropractor of the Year Award from the Southern Chiropractic Association. Dr. Maldonado is also available for guest speaking engagements on a variety of health related topics.
