I am a nationally credentialed and board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from the University of South Alabama, certified to treat children, adolescents, and adults. I also hold an additional specialization as a DEA-certified Buprenorphine practitioner, with extensive knowledge and experience in treating patients with opioid use disorders. Before my graduate training, I worked as a psychiatric registered nurse in various mental health facilities in and around the Houston area, primarily serving low-income adults struggling with substance use and severe mental and physical health issues. I believe that devotion to each individual's unique experience cultivates an atmosphere that encourages personal growth and healing. I am committed to creating compassionate, accommodating, and non-judgmental environments that honor every consumer's potential for the best possible health and happiness. I believe the most successful treatment is tailored treatment, built upon an authentic appreciation of the consumer's history and individual values. With this understanding, I aspire to partner with you to create a treatment plan that holistically addresses your distinctive needs, both for short-term symptom management and long-term change.
