About Dr. J. Scott Kasteler
Dr. Kasteler is a board-certified dermatologist with over 25 years of experience. He earned his Bachelor's degree and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Utah, completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona, and finished his residency in Dermatology at the University of Louisville. From 2014 until March 2021, he led the Forefront Dermatology practice in Jeffersonville, Indiana, before relocating and opening his newest practice in Gilbert, Arizona. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions of the hair, skin, and nails. Additionally, he diagnoses and treats skin cancer-a prevalent issue in our community. Dr. Kasteler treats every patient as if they were family and always strives to find a treatment plan that fits the lifestyle and budget of each patient. Outside of the clinic, you will find him spending time with his grandchildren or on a golf course.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Kasteler! We lucked out it appears he specializes in Excema which is why we were there for my husband who was having a flare up. He listened to our concerns and answered all of our questions. We were able to get in to see him within a couple of days which is amazing for a top notch dermatologist!

I was very anxious going in because i have never been to a dermatologist, but Dr Kasteler really helped put my mind at ease but also being very straight to the point which i appreciated! I recommend coming to see him for any of your needs! The office was also very clean and it was a quick appointment overall!
