More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Abar listen to my concerns and/or needs and communicated well. He was easy to talk to and patient. I would recommend Abar to others.
Verified patient
He was an exceptional doctor, especially as it was my first time ever seeing a mental health professional. He immediately put me at ease and asked difficult but insightful open-ended questions that I believe got to the heart of the matter.

Jabari was great. He gave me redirection, which was something I didn’t even know I needed. He made me realize that things aren’t as bad as I am making them out to be. He was a great listener. He was gentle and understanding. He listened to my concerns and never made me feel like I was the problem, but to help me see that there wasn’t really a problem, I was just creating one. The medication he prescribed me, I have only taken this morning, but at work today, it was chaotic and I am happy to say that I was able to keep a cool head and my emotions baseline. I never lost my cool or had any highs or lows today. Progress. I’m happy to be on my journey to “feeling normal.”

It was good conversation. Jabari figured out my situation and given the history I presented, he said his prescription is not going to be that useful and I should seek in-person visits. Even though we decided to not continue, he clarified so many things and left no doubts about my next steps, so at least I have a clear plan.
He is truly great! I felt heard and cared for regarding my concern. He was kind and knowledgeable! I truly appreciated how he reviewed my past experience and tailored a customized action plan of healing that I look forward to seeing through!
Verified patient
I felt like he listened and truly wanted to understand before prescribing and talking about options. Loved his tone of voice and it overall was a good appointment.
Verified patient
Setting up the appointment was smooth, which I greatly appreciated. During the session, the practitioner was attentive and addressed my concerns well. However, I encountered an issue with my prescription. After our appointment last Thursday, I reached out to him about a revision, and he responded the same day, which was great. However, when I contacted my pharmacy today, they informed me that they never received the new prescription. This has caused some frustration and delays in getting my medication. Overall, while I had a positive experience during the appointment itself, the ongoing prescription issue is concerning. I hope this gets resolved soon, as I would like to continue my care with him.
Very thoughtful guy.

The pre appointment communication was above par. Mr. Dodson was very welcoming, listened to what I said, and came up with a plan that works well for me. I appreciate being in an environment where I felt I could open up and share my history without feeling judged. I would give him more than 5 stars!
