Dr. Flyer and the rest of the staff (reception, nurses, and technicians) at CardioCare are absolutely top notch. I never have to wait more than a few minutes after I arrive for my appointment and everyone is very friendly and professional. While their Chevy Chase office is over an hour away from where I live in NoVA, it's definitely worth the drive.

I choose doctor Flyer because the other doctor I had an appointment with could no longer see me and I needed to be screened for heart abnormalities prior to starting my ADHD medication. He was pleasant to talk to, but Idid feel rushed and he only suggested an EKG which is only a small percentage of what I wanted to have done during my appointment.

Dr. Flyer was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I really appreciated that he took the time to listen to my concerns and didn't dismiss them (despite my young age), validated them, and gave me assurance (through testing). He wasvery honest in a gentle manner. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, of any age, that has any cardiology concern. His staff was also very warm and kind.

Everyone in the office was very professional and courteous. I felt that my case was taken seriously and promptly addressed. Suggestion for improvement: no one introduced themselves to me by name. This is an easy way to build trust and tostart the encounter in a way that is personal and patient-centered.

Dr. Flyer had a patient emergency and had to leave the office shortly before my appointment. Another staff member stepped in and handled my visit very well. A benefit of the Cardio Care practice is that they keep good records sothat in the event your primary doctor is taking care of an emergency other very qualified staff members can step in and take care of you.

The staff and Dr. Flyer were great. An initial consultation, EKG and Echo, plus follow-up would normally require 2 or 3 appointments with most doctors but was accomplished all at once at this office.

I wish he had listened to me more carefully and showing willingness to go deeper to the nature of the medical problem, for which I had been visiting him. He had an assumption what happened to me, I respect his professionalexperience, but he did not show any interest to explore other possibilities outside of his assumption, which could have give me a satisfactory answer, specially when I am in lot of physical distress.

Dr. Flyer quickly gave me peace of mind about an abnormal test result in another doctor's office. While the appointment was very fast, I still felt like I was taken care of completely. We even did further testing right then and there so I wouldn't have to come back.

Nothing but good things to say. I did not wait more than 10 minutes before Dr. Flyer was able to see me. Went for a basic heart checkup due to some pain in the left area of my chest. The dochas excellent bedside manner. He's a very kind man and a good listener. I could tell that he picked up very quickly on my anxieties and worries, and he provided me with the logical (and complete!) info that I was looking for; I felt much better afterwards. Went through a treadmill stress test. I had a good experience. The medical assistant was very positive and thorough as she explained the process and prepared me for the test. Dr. Flyer was staring at the screens as I ran letting me know that things were looking good; I asked him questions as well and he was more than happy to explain things to me. Great doc.

The appointment would not probably not have taken place, or gone as smoothly as it did, without the diligence of Catherine Martel. We traded no less than nine (9) emails prior to my visit. I know exactly what was going to happen BEFORE I arrived.

Booked with ZocDoc on Saturday, saw him Monday morning, had tests undertaken there and then, and a very much needed prescription by lunch time with subsequent follow ups. All was explained and questions answered in an informative yet friendlyway. The staff working on the sonograms were also friendly and helpful. There was a later problem with my follow up prescription - my fault - but the on-call Doctor sorted it out at 11:00pm for pick up at the CVS the next morning. Excellent. Recommend

Just moved to DC with a cardiac history and had an episode that made me nervous enough that I wanted to be seen by someone. Dr. Flyer had numerous accolades in Washington Magazine and was available the next day, so Iwent with him. He's definitely personable, and he asked questions/allowed me to tell him fully what happened. He seems experienced, so I trusted his judgment when he said we'd do an EKG, see how it looks, and make plans to follow up with me in a month and in the meantime I can email him if there are any issues. The exam was much too fast for my comfort, though I guess it didn't matter since the EKG was the primary diagnostic tool; when discussing the EKG afterwards, he was a bit distracted by other issues for other patients, but all in all the visit was fine. FYI -- the DC office actually shares an office with an internal med practice (though you wait separate from the internal med group), and the offices are a little worn out; I get the sense the nice offices etc. are in Chevy Chase not DC.

I think Dr. Flyer is an amazing cardiologist. He was very thorough in my consultation, was very friendly, and ran some additional tests to go with my primary care doctor's test. His staff were really nice, and he cleared up aworry of mine by revealing to me I didn't have the heart condition I thought I had. Even so, he's very proactive, but not too pushy for medication or surgery, and is going to monitor me until I really need surgery and that surgery is less invasive. There was a little bit of a wait, but not a crazy one, like only 15 minutes or so past my appointment time. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Great experience. The office was nice, modern and clean and all of the staff including Dr. Flyer were very friendly. After getting a quick echocardiogram, Dr. Flyer was able to interpret it and confirm that I had been misdiagnosed with aheart condition by another doctor (a completely incompetent one who I booked through on Zocdoc, btw). The tripfrom Woodbridge, VA out to Chevy Chase was definitely worth the hike! For out of towners who aren't familiar with Chevy Chase, the office is in a metropolitan area so there isn't a free parking lot connected. You have to either find metered street parking or use one of the parking garages in the vicinity. The Saks Fifth Avenue across the street from the office building has pretty inexpensive parking though. I only paid $5 for two hours.
