Without stating too much about my child- let’s just say there has been to other psychologists in the area we have seen, with no answer as to what could be going on. There is a complicated medical history, and I understand the process of diagnosing can be lengthy. Dr Perlov was great, and I only wished I would have booked this sooner. While being very mellow mannered, he asked questions directed toward myself and my child (wow, what a thought!). Looking at the whole person is so important to me, and in my opinion is a lost art in medicine. With all the facts in place, he gave me his impression which was very helpful. I came to him not looking for a diagnosis, but for insight and how to best help my child. I am excited for my child to have the next visit with Dr. Perlov! ”

Jack Perlov, M.D. is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience as a University professor, psychotherapist and treating all ages and most conditions. He attended medical school at The University of Manitoba and went on to complete his psychiatric residency at McMaster University Medical Center and the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Perlov completed his Child and Adolescent fellowship at the University of Toronto, where he also served as a Chief Resident at the Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Perlov has extensive experience in outpatient psychiatric settings where he cared for patients of all ages and most diagnoses including but not limited to: Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, as well as, physician and therapist “burnout”. Dr. Perlov can be expected to practice with empathy, compassion, respect, and collaboration.
