Dr. Jacob Lucas, DO received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. He then earned his doctorate from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, wherein he received the prestigious H. Willard Sterrett, D.O. and H. Willard Sterrett, JR., D.O Memorial Award for excellence in Urology. Dr. Lucas then completed his urology residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After residency, Dr. Lucas completed fellowship training in genitourinary reconstruction and prosthetics at the Baylor Scott & White Center for Reconstructive Urology in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to joining the Center of Urologic Care of Berks County, Dr. Lucas served as Assistant Professor of Surgery and Director of Genitourinary Reconstruction at Baylor Scott and White in Central Texas. Dr. Lucas has numerous peer-reviewed publications and has presented at both local and national conferences. Dr. Lucas is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a member of the American Urologic Association, Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons, Sexual Medicine Society of North America, and the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons. Dr. Lucas specializes in urethral stricture disease, erectile dysfunction and penile prosthetics, male and female incontinence surgery, Peyronie’s disease, and cancer survivorship. Dr. Lucas was raised in Bucks County and now lives in Wyomissing with his wife, three children, and their dog. Dr. Lucas is a diehard fan of all Philly sports teams. When not at work, Dr. Lucas enjoys spending time with family, playing basketball, listening to/playing music, and sim racing.
