About Jacqueline Bohanko
Jacqueline is a certified Physician Assistant with over 16 years of clinical experience. Following her passion for dermatology she completed the Diplomat Fellowship offered by the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She received her Master of Physician Assistant studies from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pa and prior earned her Bachelors of Science at Muhlenberg College. Her previous work experience includes emergency medicine, surgery, and pediatrics. She is currently licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She performs skin cancer screenings with a focus on prevention and early detection, manages acute and chronic skin conditions, and offers evidence-based skin care guidance. Good for basic dermatology needs, fast, easy scheduling and clean, modern office. The doc spoke super fast and gave us too many medication options - had to go back and read the after care notes closely to determine the difference and frequency and I may need to call for more guidance.

I would highly recommend this practice! I scheduled an appointment for my 15yr old son since I was having problems finding a pediatric Dermatologist, but the whole practice was absolutely amazing! From walking in through the door, we were treated with so much respect and kindness to the time we left. He was very nervous about going in, even though he had been the one requesting an appointment for a full body scan, but Dr. Bohanko explained everything to him about what he should be looking for and calmed his nerves with the few spots that he was concerned about. I even had a spot that I was concerned about that she took a look at while we were there...she is so kind, calm and had the best bedside manner! Absolutely would recommend her to anyone!

Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. Very well organized and staff were so polite and made you feel welcomed. Provider and MA made sure you felt comfortable and made sure you understood everything happening. I would 10/10 recommend this practice to anyone that is looking for a great dermatologist. As a new patient I was able to be seen within a week!

I really appreciated the time that this provider took to talk through concerns during my skin check. She was kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. Explained the follow up well. The exam did not feel rushed which is a big plus in my book. I felt comfortable with her and would go back for other dermatology needs.
The office and parking set up is a bit awkward but manageable. Their fishtown office is a medical coworking space which means that the front desk and lobby (and I'm unclear if also the exam rooms?) are shared by multiple practices. I managed to find a free parking spot right in front.
