After finishing her undergraduate degree, she attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, where she met her husband, a Provo native. Upon completing her family medicine residency, she worked in an outpatient setting as her husband completed his residency training. She later worked at Cleveland Clinic while her husband pursued additional specialty training and then made a permanent move to Utah. It brings her great joy knowing that she can now settle down and establish long-term relationships with her patients and their families. Dr. Brom believes that the relationship a patient has with their provider is significant and should center on mutual trust and understanding. Acknowledging the sensitivities and complexities involved in one’s health care, she strives to provide compassion and empathy. In addition, she recognizes the importance of a team-based approach so that the health needs of each of her patients are appropriately addressed and never overlooked. Dr. Brom enjoys taking care of patients of all ages, managing both their acute and chronic conditions while maintaining a focus on prevention to help her patients live the healthiest and most fulfilling lives possible. When she is not engaging in her work, Dr. Brom enjoys the outdoors, reading, running, and spending time with her family.
