I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a clinical focus on trauma-informed, patient-centered psychiatric care. My work is rooted in the belief that people heal best when they feel safe, understood, and actively involved in their treatment. I strive to create a therapeutic space where clients can explore their experiences without judgment and move toward meaningful, sustainable change. My background includes comprehensive psychiatric assessment, medication management, and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other complex mental health needs. I take a collaborative, evidence-based approach, integrating both psychopharmacology and supportive therapeutic strategies to help clients build stability and resilience. In addition to general psychiatry, I have extensive experience working with individuals living with substance use disorders. I understand the intersection of trauma, mental health, and substance use, and I work with clients to develop individualized plans that support recovery at their own pace. Alongside my clinical practice, I also hold a faculty role as a clinical instructor with Georgian Court University, supervising undergraduate nursing students on the Behavioral Health Unit at Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center. This role allows me to help shape future nurses guiding them through real-world behavioral health experiences in a specialty that requires empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of mental health, an approach I bring to my own clinical practice.
