What should a new client know about working with you?

I embarked on my healthcare journey in 2013 as an EMT in the neuro ICU, and my path has been marked by a decade of dedicated service in both psychiatric mental health and critical care. After attaining a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Utah, I gained two years of invaluable experience in the Huntsman Oncology ICU. This, coupled with an additional three years at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute, helped hone my expertise in mental health. Such a varied background encouraged me to pursue a Master's of Science degree in Nursing, with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) from Northern Kentucky University. With a deep-rooted commitment to compassionate, personalized care, I bring a blend of advanced training, clinical experience, and genuine empathy to the therapeutic relationship.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I begin by gathering a thorough understanding of your history, current challenges, and personal goals. Together, we develop a customized plan that may include therapy, medication management, lifestyle strategies, or other supportive interventions tailored to your needs. I regularly check in to track progress, make adjustments as needed, and ensure your care continues to align with your goals. My approach is collaborative, aiming to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout your mental health journey.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment. You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292). During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
