Getting to know Jae Min Lee
Hello there, I am looking forward to working with you. My goal is to help you figure out what you can do to optimize your mental health. During sessions with me, you can expect an individualized treatment plan based on a comprehensive and holistic evaluation. Together, we will work as a team with total respect for your preferences.
I work with adults ages 20 to 55 and treat clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and attention issues that negatively impact their everyday lives. I have over 7 years of experience as a professional registered nurse in the mental health field, including work in hospitals, specialized psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health centers. I hold a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from City University of New York, Hunter College; a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York, Brockport; and an Associate's degree from Seoul Women's College of Nursing.
I believe that all aspects of someone's life work simultaneously and play an important role in mental health. That is why I care deeply about your improvement through treatment and your total well-being as well.

What should a new client know about working with you?
I speak in both English and Korean and am familiar with Korean/Asian culture so clients who are more comfortable with Korean and need cultural understanding would like to discuss their mental health issues with me.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Each client can expect personalized specific treatment options and the discussion of any concerns from me as their provider. With that, the clients' cultures/preferences are highly respected while we work together as a team.
