What is your typical process for working with clients?
During our first session, I complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation that includes your current concerns, medical and mental health history, past treatments, and any goals you may have. This helps me develop a clear understanding of what you are experiencing and how we can best approach treatment together.
After the initial evaluation, we will discuss a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy, or a combination of both. I explain your options in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way so you always feel informed and involved in your care.
Follow-up visits typically include checking in on how you are feeling, reviewing progress, discussing any challenges, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed. Sessions often include therapeutic conversation, support, and guidance, in addition to medication review when appropriate.
My goal is to create a comfortable, collaborative experience where you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your mental health journey.

Can't say enough good things about Dr. Marrero! He’s helped me so much with my anxiety and I’ve made way more progress than I expected. Incredibly easy to talk to and creates a comfortable, judgment-free space where I never feel awkward sharing what’s on my mind. Because I got pressured and I was in a pressure situation I took more medicine and I should have and then when I tried to go down on medication he accused me of stealing that wanted me to show me a picture of the medicine where I was so I don't want to talk if they don't believe in me he's not a good listener and his mustang is he doesn't want to get in trouble by the DEA so he's not willing to help you and he's going to accuse you of anything you make one mistake you're out of there I don't like that method he didn't help me at all
