About Jahzeel Paguntalan
Jahzeel Paguntalan, PA-C is a dedicated physician assistant with a passion for patient education, advocacy, and ensuring equitable access to healthcare. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from the University of California, Los Angeles, before continuing his education at A.T. Still University, where he graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
Driven by a desire to help others from a young age, Jahzeel’s interest in medicine grew through his diverse roles in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as his experience as a research fellow. His commitment to improving healthcare is evident in his focus on patient education and fostering meaningful relationships with those under his care. Jahzeel believes that informed patients are better equipped to engage in their treatment plans, resulting in improved outcomes and prevention.
Outside of work, Jahzeel enjoys finding time to relax and unwind, whether that involves watching movies, or going for a drive with a good playlist. He also loves hiking and biking on trails.

I made an appointment to see Jahzeel at Aylo primary care facility. We discussed my symptoms and issues. I gave blood, did an EKG, and other tests; but I didn't get a prescription, medication, etc to solve the issue. Ir has only been two days since my visit, but usually when you go to the doctor if you say you have an issue, sick etc there is some sort of treatment plan, and I did not leave with one.
