About Jaimie Allen

We are pleased to welcome our nurse practitioner, Jaimie Allen, MSN, FNP-BC, to the Walnut Lake Ob/Gyn family. Her expertise, diverse experiences, and commitment to patient care make her the perfect addition to our practice.
Jaimie graduated with her nursing degree from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse for eight years at West Virginia University Health System and the University of Michigan. She loves caring for women and helping them safely bring their babies into the world. Jaimie went on to receive her master’s degree in Family Nursing from Walsh University to become a nurse practitioner.
As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Jaimie continues to do what she loves—caring for women! She enjoys empowering women during the prenatal and postpartum periods and educating expectant mothers. Along with pregnancy care, Jaimie enjoys caring for women of all ages. She believes in caring for the whole individual and helping them make the best decisions about their care.

The staff was friendly. Did not have to wait at all. Jaime the NP was super friendly and made me comfortable. I had been seeing the same obgyn for over 25 years and since he retired I was apprehensive about seeing someone new. She listened and was so warm and pleasant. Jamie was absolutely amazing. I feared going back to the OB/GYN for years after a bad experience. After today, I don’t feel afraid anymore. She was so kind, patient, and had amazing positive energy. She talked me through everything, took her time getting to know me, and was as gentle as possible. I’ve never met a provider who has treated me as wonderful as she did in the 30 minutes I was there. I will most definitelycontinue to see her as my GYN!

She not only is very knowledgeable, but she is a great listener- not once did I feel rushed or overlooked. Her chair-side etiquette is exactly what every provider should strive for. Really cute office—it felt like I was in my aunt’s home or something. Very warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and Jaimie Allen made the appointment much more pleasant and comfortable than these kinds of appointments usually are. I got help refilling my prescription for my birth control and I didn’t even go in for that! She is awesome and very understanding.
