Getting to know Dr. Jamee Nicoletti

I’m a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in Psychology and a specialization in Neuropsychology. I have over 25 years of experience providing neuropsychological evaluations, psychotherapy, and cognitive rehabilitation. I value a warm, relational approach to working together and focus on helping you build on strengths to achieve your unique goals. I provide evidence-based psychotherapy focused on anxiety, depression, and trauma concerns using Cognitive-Behavioral, Trauma-informed, and Mindfulness approaches. I also have particular expertise in helping both individuals and their caregivers understand and improve functioning related to cognitive concerns including ADHD, brain injury, neurological illness, and age-related conditions such as dementia. I’ve trained nationally and internationally with noted clinicians and researchers in psychology and neuropsychology. I earned my doctoral degree from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York where my studies focused on epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, stroke, movement disorders, and neurodegenerative disease processes. I then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center/Weill Cornell in New York City conducting research on cancer-related cognitive side effects and rehabilitation. I also trained internationally in neuroanatomy, neuroimaging, memory disorders, and pediatric cognitive functioning. I offer telehealth services across Arizona and New York, making care flexible and accessible for busy professionals and those managing health challenges. If you’re ready to feel supported and understood, I’d be honored to help you move forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a psychologist, I provide evidence-based psychotherapy using Cognitive-Behavioral, Trauma-informed, and Mindfulness approaches. I also have expertise in helping both individuals and their caregivers understand and improve functioning related to behavioral and cognitive concerns. Our first session is a chance to better understand what you’re experiencing and what you want help with right now. We’ll talk through your concerns in a low-pressure way, explore what’s been working (and what hasn’t), and create a supportive plan that feels reachable and tailored to your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I see clients virtually, offering flexible scheduling so you can attend therapy from a private, comfortable space that works for you.
