My name is Dr. James Abolarin, and I am a licensed therapist with a Master’s in Community Counseling from Argosy University. I focus on working with adults, using cognitive therapy to help my clients think about their issues. I assess mental health concerns through a therapeutic lens. I understand that life can be extremely difficult to navigate sometimes, especially during major life transitions. These challenges can greatly impact our well-being, particularly if we lack the proper tools to work through them. It can seem impossible to manage these stressors and escape the overwhelming feelings that accompany them. I am here to help guide your mental health journey, and together we can learn how to manage the challenges life throws at you.
I primarily work with clients experiencing depression, eating disorders, and PTSD. Additionally, I have worked for several mental health agencies in Atlanta, Georgia. I have experience supporting clients dealing with PTSD, eating disorders, addictions, marital problems, bipolar disorder, and many other concerns. By changing the way you think, you can feel empowered to enact meaningful change in your life. I am committed to developing a trusting relationship where you feel heard and understood. More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
