Dr. Jim has the potential to be a great doctor. Unfortunately his persistently being overbooked has led to him being dismissive and forgetful. It is hard to get an appointment and it feels like you aren't being listened to. I made an appointment to talk about blood test results that were not inline with expected results. There was no conversation about the meaning of the results, no retest scheduled, nothing more than a passing comment of maybe we should look at that. Really disappointing.

Dr Jim has been great with my son for the past 2 years. He always addresses each concern, doesn't jump to prescriptions unless needed and appreciates a parent's choices for schooling/holistic/less common approaches. I love that he was ok with our adjusted vaccine schedule.

Dr. Brouillette is fine. Its the desk staff. They aren't very friendly and they do not comunicate very well. I told the staff over the phone that we were running behind and would there in under 8 minutes and to check us in and let Dr. Brouillette know we were on our way. (So he could get ready for our appointment.
These ladys did not inform the doctor. She didnt even try. We waited in the waiting room for 50 MINUTES!!! We would have been in the office with Dr. Brouillette hopefully within 10 minutes of arrival. But no, zero communication from the staff. She even tried to say that because we were IN OKAY CHECKIN TIME... that for some reason. She wasnt sure if the doctor would see us today. And came back 40 minutes later saying that he could.. so.. 10 minutes after actually imforming him, we waited an appropriate 8-10minutes.
WHAT ON EARTH?!!...
SO WHAT YOU ARE TELLING ME IS, YOU PUSHED OUR APPOINTMENT!?
My son is reacting well to his shot today... but this desk lady even after we were leaving.. had NO CLUE AS TO WHAT WAS GOING ON. How long does it take to check us out?
And patient confidentiality?? You can scratch that OFF. This old guy was standing at the glass chit chating away with no appointment or anything, staring at my sons documents. He didnt work there.
This lady didnt do anything, completely ignoring this until the OTHER, almost nonexisting lady told him the come over to her side and talk to her about his problem...

Im not sure its a safe environment. This office can be in Okemos, but most of the staff do not meet the grade.
